MEET

THEODORA OFOSUHIMA

born in Ghana, raised in Italy, and has lived in the UK where she received her degree in English Literature and History. Married with two children, she pursued her passion for photography and writing when she moved to Canada in 2011.
  • In 2016, whilst she was still feeling lost without a purpose, she was invited by a new friend to attend an Alpha course. She went there with a wayward heart but it was during this course that the Lord called her back to Himself. She answered yes. Since then, she has found joy and peace that surpasses worldly understanding. She has found purpose, to be a living testimony, and to glorify Jesus in all that she does.
  • In 2018 while visiting Israel, the Lord, spoke to her heart when she wanted to make a slow living magazine. "Where do you place me in all of this?" She felt called not to hide where her joy and peace come from. She was called to use her gifts to create a magazine that anyone who is seeking to find peace and joy would like to read, the only task was to place God at the center because the joy and peace she had found didn't come from worldly possessions, but from surrendering her heart to her Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ. The joy and peace are too beautiful to keep secret so she launched Obaahima as a way to love and serve others.
  • She is called to be obedient to the will of the LORD our God, who has made Himself known through His only begotten Son, the Lord Jesus. It's that same peace and joy that He wants to give to whoever will open their heart for Him to dwell in there.
